Diploma education has to demonstrate expertise and capability to satisfy the engineering needs of society and industry. Industries & business have to actively participate in its development. Due to challenge through by various global forces in this new millennium, academic milieu needs re-engineering, inter-disciplinary approach, multi skill orientation, lesser holidays, more contact hours, continuous assessment and dynamic co-curricular activities. There shall be harmony between body, mind and soul for overall progress of human civilisation. Scientific temperament with human values shall be order of the day. Work is worship can be only the Panacea for us
